Going to the SEAANZ Conference?

Are you going to the SEAANZ Conference? Not heard about it?

It’s on this August at the NAB Village in Docklands Melbourne from August 10-12

Here’s some info on ONE of their great Speakers…

He’s a what? An ‘immersive technologist!’ What’s that?

How in the world does someone make a successful business from being an ‘immersive technologist’! Well Joel de Ross does. And he believes that ‘time travel can save the music industry!’ Unusual but it made sense in his TEDx presentation last year. Here’s the Youtube clip.

So don’t expect the ‘expected’ from Joel when he presents at our National Small Business Conference (Melb 10-12 Aug). We’re looking at small business innovation which is never ‘normal.’

Joel continues our theme from last years conference exploring small business and the arts with ‘triple8funk’ and others. Here’s that Youtube clip.

But innovators also need basic business skills, such as tax compliance. Oh dear! However the Australian Taxation Office has promised an innovative session to help small business people tackle tax issues. It’s knowledge we (perhaps reluctantly) all need in business!

You’ll find the updated conference program here and speaker profiles here.

It’s 9 weeks to the conference and if you think you might attend, highlight the dates in your diary (10-12 Aug). Prices and bookings are here (Early bird applies until 30 June) If you need Melbourne accommodation we’ve secured deals with budget to superior hotels.
